Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967 in Atlanta. Roberts is part of the Robertses' fourth generation to live in the Atlanta area, starting in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was the first interest to the stage. While in school at Emory University in 1952 he was a part of productions at Emory University and elsewhere in Atlanta. Following his air force service, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in the year 1957. Walter attended Tulane University at New Orleans in the year 1957, after they had separated from the Air Force of the United States. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television show called Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded themselves. The following year, they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for six years. They were blessed with two additional youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
