Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta, beginning with her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. When he was studying at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple married and, in 1956, their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter was enrolled in Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they left the airforce and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter was employed to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to be a part of the production team for the show Bum Bum and His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. The year 1964 was when Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local children's Saturday morning television program named Bum Bum and His Buddies which they financed themselves. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) at the time.
