Lindsey Vonn, an American skier who was born on 18 October 1984, was awarded the gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics for the downhill ski race. She holds the second-highest super score of any skier whether female or male. She is one of the greatest skiers of all time and is the most loved skier in the United States. Caroline Vonn, also known by her name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who competes in the US Ski Team. She has won 4 World Cups. She's one of the most famous athletes within American history. She's among only six females in the history of sports to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She has won more than 80 World Cup titles. After the World Championships in Sweden this year, one of the top and most experienced American ski racers will retire. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of ailments. The four-time overall World Cup champion has announced her retirement on social networking.
