Lindsey Vonn is an American skier who was born on October 18, 1984. In 2010, she retired after having won 4 World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skis. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female and male skiers in terms of top scores. She's one of the world's greatest skiers and also is the most popular American skier. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup winning alpine skier from the United States with the nickname Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. She has been the winner of all-around World Cup competition four times. It is a professional athlete who has earned an impact in American culture. She is one of just six female athletes who have taken home trophies the five World Cup competitions in alpine. In total, she's won more than 80 World Cup titles. The best skier in the world and the most successful American racer of all time in skiing have announced their retirement after this year's World Championship in Sweden. Numerous health issues led her to become a four-time World Cup Overall Champion to choose to quit her job. Social media was her way to announce her retirement.
